Once you become a Christian, your life is supposed to easy and peachy and everything goes by the plan. Life becomes like Leave it Beaver. Nothing really goes wrong. All is right in the world and their is no more pain . . . Right?
Not exactly. Life is tough.
Last Sunday, in both Planet Kids and "big church" we talked about service. We need to go the extra mile and help people out. We need to breathe in and out. While this was the theme, it was apparent last Sunday ways to serve or at least pray for people. All last Sunday, Jennifer found out some friends lost a baby that lived to be 60 days old, another couple is having financial struggles, another friend that had a mental breakdown. Then Jennifer served me with being sick from Sat to Tuesday.
Fast forward to today, Planet Kids was on praying to God with your frustrations and your hurts. We only had two kids (compared with 15 from last week) and got to talk about God lets us go through hard times to make us stronger and to teach us patience and to trust in Him. This hits us right now. We want a baby. Jennifer is really, really struggling with not being pregnant. We know it will happen in God's time and God's way, but it is still hard. Please be praying for us, especially Jennifer. I want to have a child, but I don't understand Jennifer's deep desire to have a child. Thanks for your prayers.
Here is a video of Matt Redman's great song that helps remind that God never lets us go and always is with us.
